Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to present this rambunctious 1996 Dodge Viper GTS for sale on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The second generation of the Viper, which was known as the “SR II", began production in 1996 and the “Double Bubble" GTS model was chosen as the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500 that same year. This 1996 Viper for sale has been owned and cared for by the same individual for 18 years, receiving several upgrades along the way. Painted in “Viper Blue" with twin White racing stripes and gen III wheels, this Dodge looks like it's flying at a stand-still. The monstrous 8.0l V10 engine got some new hypereutectic pistons for 1996 and this particular car features the addition of a Paxton supercharger, sending the output soaring to an estimated 670hp (Viper GTS models came with 450hp from the factory). The cat-back exhaust system keeps this car legal for emissions but improve the soundtrack and throttle response. This American performance car is fully loaded and the transmission underneath the floor pans is the legendary BW T56 6-speed manual, allowing the driver to take full advantage of the 8.0L's impressive power band. Inside the Viper is a pretty nice place to be for a car that's so focused on performance. Standard features for the GTS included air conditioning, dual air bags and power windows/door locks. Black leather seating is comfortable and supportive. This vehicle features a clean Carfax report (available on request) with good history records, adult ownership and not being abused. [ omitted ]. General Terms
AVAILABILITY
: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.  In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS
: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis.  Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase.  It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale.  If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced.  Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable ,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed.  A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.  PayPal and American Express is not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE
: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
Fees and Taxes
All finalized transactions will have additional charges if applicable which could include the following: sales tax, title fees, license & registration fees, and other additional government or licensing agency charges to register the vehicle.  The purchaser is responsible for these charges.
The advertised price and winning auction bids shall include a document fee of 7.63.
All credit cards are charged a 3% convenient fee.
