    Description

    This is a Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) Vaxstation 3500 Main frame computer with monochrome monitor, keyboard, mouse, 35 notebook manuals, 27 TK50 mag tapes, cabling. Original paperwork. Original cost was 000. Inventory as follows;
    1) Vax station 3500 computer,
    - with 1, hard drive (250MB?)
    - TK70 Tape drive,
    - 2 DC supplies,
    - 1 CPU board
    - video board
    - modem board
    2) 35 Orange notebook manuals on VMS, Fortran etc.
    3) 27 TK50 mag Tapes, which includes VMS and Fortran,
    4) 2 license paks for VMS and Fortran
    5) Digital VSXXX-AA Puck mouse
    6) Digital LK201 keyboard
    7) there are 2 modem cables, terminal cables, printer cables
    8) VR-260 Monochrome Monitor.
    Computer powers up to the screen shown in photos. It gets to the command line prompts as shown. But says operation not possible. Not sure  if it finished its memory check. Which may indicate a CPU board problem. Theres a battery in the CPU board that I'm sure is long dead. The tape drive seems to work. My knowledge is limited on these old machines.
    This has been in storage since the mid 90's. Nice project for someone to enjoy.
    Local pickup in Massachussetts. Not far from the original headquarters of DEC in Maynard Mass.
