Fine Vintage Wiss K.S. Multi-Purpose Kitchen Shears! Original, Scarce Color!

Offered for your consideration is a very nice pair of vintage Wiss K.S. multi-purpose shears or scissors.  This is the version with the yellow handle finish and they were likely made from the early 1950's through early 1960's.  These are classic kitchen shears that offer excellent quality and versatility.  The shears have a tight, sturdy feel in the hand and they offer several handy features.  The design incorporates a cap lifter, bottle/jar opener, and an ice cracker.  These shears are still fairly easy to find, with the challenge being finding a nice, original pair, especially in the tougher colors.  This color is much more difficult to come by than the red or all chrome models.
The shears have seen light to moderate use and they remain in excellent condition with no problems at all.  They have not been buffed or polished and remain original.  The shears show no signs of abuse or rough treatment and they've been very well cared for over the years.
The shears were heavily built from forged carbon steel and they have a classic appearance.  They are premium-quality shears with a tight, sturdy feel in the hand.  The shears are free of any significant corrosion or pitting with just a hint of the usual light carbon spotting on the inside surfaces of the blades.  The inside surfaces still show areas of the mirrored finish as well.  The shears are free of any stains or discoloration and remains very bright.  They function perfectly and cut beautifully with a smooth, clean cutting action.  The pivot screw is the original and shows no signs of past adjustment or stripping with no marring or the slot.  The blades show no visible signs of having been sharpened and retain their original factory edges.  The edges are free of any nicks, chips, dings, or damage and remain very nice with just a bit of normal wear.  They remain sharp and the scissors are ready for immediate use.  The handle finish remains mostly intact with just some normal wear, mostly along the edges and contact points as shown.
The shears measure 8" from tip to the back of the handle in the closed position.
